PRISM Project Estimator is multi-project, multi-currency, multi-user, concurrent access database system for developing and maintaining project cost estimates. It is designed to support a structured "building- block" methodology for developing project cost estimates. This approach maximizes consistency of estimate information while minimizing repetitive data entry. The system uses a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) coding system as the key to organizing estimate data. This structure is identical to the structure found in PRISM Project Manager and allows a seamless interface between the detailed cost estimate developed with PRISM Project Estimator and the budget, actual, and forecast data contained in PRISM Project Manager.
