Using the most up-to-date software, ARES helps our clients achieve accurate, reliable schedules. The project’s requirements and complexity are used to determine the right level of schedules. We use the DCMA 14-Point Assessment criteria to ensure our schedules will accurately plan and forecast project tasks and work packages. We utilize interviewing techniques to ensure schedule updates truly reflect current progress. When projects are losing float, we determine root causes and develop recovery plans.
Performance Measurement Baseline Development
ARES project controls experts are adept at integrating the technical scope, contractual requirements, contracting strategies, financial systems, project schedule, and cost estimate to develop both a work breakdown structure and an organizational breakdown structure. These structures provide the basis for the Control Account and Work Package planning. ARES creates budgets from the Cost Estimate and time phases those based on the Project Schedule to develop a performance measurement baseline all in the confines of PRISM G2, a cost management/earned value management software application. Objective earned value techniques are selected specific to each Control Account to ensure earned value is accurately calculated.
