ARES is proud to be a partner of Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) for the recently awarded Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization and Modification (DTAMM) Contract. This $444 million contract supports the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command and Space Launch Deltas (SLDs) 30 and 45.

The SAIC team will support the modernization of the space launch range instrumentation. The efforts will sustain an accelerated national launch cadence across the Eastern Range (ER) and Western Range (WR) including Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base in Fla. and Vandenberg Space Force Base in Calif. Our team’s experts will collaborate to modernize antiquated instrumentation and processes to enable a faster and more integrated launch environment.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the SAIC team tasked to innovate and work with the Space Force to posture the eastern and western launch ranges for the future” said Thomas Eye, ARES VP for the DoD Market and former member of the Space Launch Delta 45.  “Safe, efficient and resilient spaceports are cornerstones in providing our nation assured access to space.”
