he ARES name is derived from the work we do – using applied research and engineering sciences to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. Our roots in quality run deep. Founded in 1992 as an engineering consulting firm, we have provided safety and mission assurance services to the Federal Government for over 30 years. From radiological waste retrieval to quantitative risk assessments for the International Space Station and Ballistic Missile Defense system, our company ensures the success of multi-billion-dollar Government programs.
Our work has evolved to meet our Nation’s most difficult challenges. We apply our expertise in program management, systems engineering, and information technology to meet these challenges, delivering innovative products on-time and within budget. We employ a highly skilled workforce of engineers, scientists, analysts, researchers, and technical professionals. They have decades of experience with our customers, are published authors, represent our company in professional associations, and have multiple degrees at the post-graduate and graduate levels. By focusing on our industry’s most complex technical challenges and consistently designing high-value added solutions, we are able to attract and retain top technical personnel to work across the United States.
In 2022, ARES became a 100% employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This path allows us to continue to be an independently-managed company, focused on long-term success with an employee-centered culture. As owners, our employees are deeply invested in the success of our client’s mission, creating a collaborative, productive work environment where everyone strives toward a common goal.
